Overall purpose of the job
Always maintaining a supply of clean ware/cooking utensils. Responsible for cleanliness of
the kitchen and wash up area. Work alongside the chef team to maintain HACCP.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Perform all tasks as requested by supervisor. Daily cleaning + monthly cleaning.
- Assist in checking, acceptance and correct storage of deliveries.
- Stock replenishes each day.
- Supporting the chef with basic food preparation tasks as required.
- Work on own initiative and ensure area of responsibility is to the cleaning
standards set by the company.
- Ensure equipment is kept clean and in good working order.
Person specification
- Fluent in English.
- Bright & smiling disposition.
- Team player.
- Flexible approach to duties undertaken.
- Willing to step in and cover annual leave / sick leave of co-workers.
- Full training and induction provided
Working Patterm
Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 15:30
