Overall Purpose of this role
We're looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Team Lead to join our client's team. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day security operations and ensuring top-notch service is provided at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the security team, supporting their growth and development.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Keep open communication with your team and others across the site.
- Act as the main contact for the client, delivering great service daily.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the site, adhering to service agreements.
- Organize and carry out training for new and existing security staff.
- Work with HR and the Contract Manager to recruit new security employees.
- Arrange holiday or relief cover as needed, manage absences, and handle staff scheduling.
- Monitor site activities, including visitors, CCTV, and alarms.
- Handle calls, manage messages, and welcome people into the organization.
- Provide general administrative support, manage diaries, and assist with customer care.
- Maintain the security office and assist with daily tasks such as post, taxis, and couriers.
- Keep track of staff and contractor movements, ensuring all permits are in place.
- Manage access control, including ID cards, vehicle logs, and site patrols.
- Complete reports and other tasks as requested by the Contract Manager.
Requirements
- A valid PSA License and at least five years of relevant experience.
- Strong admin, IT (Excel & Word), and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and great customer service.
- Full, clean driving license.
Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday 7 am to 5 pm.
