    Small Jobs Estimator (Facilities Management)

    Location – Atherstone (Regional cover, Midlands & North)

    Hours – Monday – Friday, 08:30 to 17:00

    We are currently seeking a Desk Estimator will take lead role to develop and maintain the estimating process and support / provide estimates / quotations to the client and work with the Regional Facilities Managers across the account ensuring estimating standardisation is delivered.

    As part of this role you will:

    • Undertake the pricing of small works projects ranging up to c£50,000 across the account.
    • Assist with planning and delivery of additional works across the account
    • Working alongside RFM’s and Help Desk to provide support, enabling quotes to be developed and submitted to client.
    • Reviewing costs provided by supply chain to ensure best value offer is secured.
    • Managing the quote process on the account to identify opportunities to improve, streamline activities and expedite quote submissions in a timely manner.

    This role will require travel to sites across the UK.

    Skills & Experience

    • Experience in estimating Mechanical / Electrical / building services within an FM environment
    • Knowledge of SFG20 practice, statutory maintenance requirements and relevant British Standards.
    • Experience of delivering FM estimating advice
    • Experience and ability to interrogate sub-contractor pricing.
    • Experience in similar role where remote costings are required.
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Good command of Microsoft Office.
    • Valid UK Driving Licence with access to your own vehicle

    We’ll make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You will already have experience gained in a similar role. You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 0830 – 1700, however you will need to be flexible to ensure service delivery at the highest level.
