We are looking for Security Officers to join our team in Grand Canal Square, Dublin
Working pattern: Monday to Sunday shifts, 42 hours per week. there are day/night shifts of 12 hours
Main Duties and Responsibilities
To provide security services on client sites as required in line with client and company procedures, ensuring that all relevant legislation is adhered to at all times.
- Present for work at the designed time at the location required
- Follow on site security requirements including but not limited to internal and external patrols
- Monitoring CCTV cameras and footage
- Access control and monitoring
- Searching people and vehicles as and when required
- Report any security events in the onsite log
- Deal with emergency situations including alert and evacuations
- Establishing parameter and access control
- Support emergency services
- Complete the onsite paperwork in a clear format adhering to all quality procedures both from a company and client perspective
- First point of contact for intercom systems. Remote surveillance and control of the gate
- Assisting with the upkeep of the authorized fleet, private vehicle lists as required
- Pro- active escalation and response to malfunction of gates, barriers, cameras , technology
- Security system tests i.e bell tests, emergency call systems etc
Requirements:
- Must be eligible to work in Ireland
- Experience of a similar role
- A good working knowledge of English
- A knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices
- Successful candidate will also be required to consent to 5 year background check, offer is subject to passing background check
- Requirement to hold an active PSA license
