    We are looking for a Full-time Technical Facilities assistant to join our team in Dublin City Centre.

    Working pattern: Monday to Friday from 11:00-19:30

     

    Main duties and responsibilities

    • Induct contractors to site including HSEQ and Covid-19 requirements. 
    • Identify and report any near misses and or incidents.
    • Support Energy Management - Ensuring the buildings homeostasis by utilising the Building Management System (BMS)
    • Conducting regular checks to ensure the office is free of safety hazards.
    • Responsible for the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms, including the arrangement and movement of tables, chairs, and other furniture to match various event layouts
    • Assist with routine building maintenance (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and general repairs
    • Setting up and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment (projectors, video conferencing systems, speakers) for presentations
    • Assisting with desk moves or minor office reconfigurations as the team grows or changes.
    • Ensuring meeting rooms are clean, tidy, and well-stocked with whiteboards, markers, and other necessary supplies before and after use.
    • Daily Plant room checks, identify and report any faults/ anomalies. 
    • Complete and update statutory check sheets, soft and hard copies where required
    • Assist with porterage, franking post and managing site consumables; ensuring consumables across the site are refilled and coordinating purchases
    • Functional use of Systems-Support site operations using the Apleona CAFM system. 
    • Effectively provide updates and close out tasks as assigned on the NAV online Helpdesk system
    • Coordinate site cleanliness and waste management; removal of waste and tidiness of storage space.

     

    Qualifications and experience

    ▪ Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, caretaking, or technical support 

    ▪ Basic health and safety knowledge 

    ▪ Good work record

    ▪ Experience using maintenance logs or CMMS systems

    ▪ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 

    ▪ Understand safe working practices and health and safety legislation

    ▪ Well-organised and capable of prioritising own work

    ▪ Physically able to carry out manual tasks

    ▪ Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
