    We are looking for a Senior Facilities Engineer to join our team in Dublin 1

    Working pattern: Monday to Friday from 08:30-17:00

     

    Main duties and responsibilities:

    • Gain a detailed knowledge of all mechanical, electrical, civil, life safety and other assets that are installed across the campus.
    • Be in attendance and be a strong presence on behalf of the onsite facilities team and our client at all commissioning and handover stages
    • Assist with the development management of a detailed maintenance programme
    • Develop a strong relationship with the fitout team
    • Review all maintenance records and highlight any concerns or issues identified through the correct channels.
    • Develop relationships with key maintenance suppliers
    • Assist with the review of all technical submittals by the contractors to the design team and attend all design team and other project meetings as required.
    • Escalate any concerns that cannot be resolved locally to the Engineering Manager or Technical Director as necessary.
    • Be the single point of contact for the account covering all Engineering as the primary escalation point
    • Complete a detailed review and report of all fit out handover documentation
    • Ensure that any new assets or changes to existing assets are updated on CAFM system.
    • Manage all aspects of technical FM across the site as part of a large onsite FM team.
    • Assist with the recruitment of and lead the onsite technical trades
    • Provide assistance for other projects within the onsite team as necessary.
    • Promote culture and awareness within team on site in relation to sustainability and energy efficiency targets/goals
    • Flexibility and availability to work overtime
    • Goal Zero – Embed EHS as a way of doing business. Enforce a zero tolerance to unsafe working practices to target a goal zero accident rate.
    • Ensure KPI Sustainability assurance and Local Legislation Compliance
    • Be responsible for the direct management of all resources involved in the delivery of engineering (E.g. recruitment, ethics, performance assessment, personal development, personal wellbeing etc.)
    • Ensure effective and timely implementation of training plans
    • Ability to problem solve and deal with ad-hoc tasks as they arrive.

     

    Requirements:

    • Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services)
    • Minimum 5 years relevant post-graduate experience
    • Proven experience as a multi-disciplinary services team leader on large-scale commercial projects
    • Proven experience of working with design drawings and BIM
    • Strong IT and report writing skills
    • Excellent communication skills Ideal Skills & Experience
    • Asset Management experience (planned and reactive maintenance, CAFM etc)
    • Financial management

    • Flexibility
