At Apleona, we are always on the lookout for talented and dynamic individuals to join our team. We are currently recruiting for an additional Environmental Technician to be based at our office in Loughrea, Co Galway
Working with environmental engineers to implement cleanup plans, operate and maintain monitoring equipment, and prepare reports on their findings. This role requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. This role will involve visiting multiple sites nationwide
Working pattern: Monday to Friday from 09:00-17:00
Main duties and responsibilities
- Responsibility for the collection of water samples & sending them to Biosearch for analysis
- Responsibility for the testing & treatment of closed-loop systems
- Completing reports for closed-loop systems and sending them to customers with recommendations
- Ensuring your customers' sites have the correct volume of chemicals required on-site
- Keeping your work orders up to date with comments of progression, ensuring Po's are created to suppliers and orders are reassigned to the correct team member to continue the process
Qualifications and experience
- An associate's degree in environmental engineering technology or a related field
- Computer-literate using Microsoft package
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Clean driving licence
