    Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Assistant will provide exceptional customer service to both internal & external customers. The right person will provide the first impression our visitors have of the Clients meetings/events and therefore, they will need to be on the ball in any situation; providing a lasting and unique memorable experience that makes our customers feel welcome, comfortable and brings our Client’s brand to life. This person will need to work collectively as a team and show a passionate understanding of our guests’ needs and requirements, striving to exceed expectations wherever possible. 

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Events, Meeting Rooms & all hospitality spaces must be presentable and ‘show ready’ at all times, whether set for use or reset as per the Client’s design.
    • Work closely with the Client Workplace Team for all meeting & event requests and ensure continuous monitoring of the clients event calendar.
    • Assist in emergencies such as light leaks, spills etc.
    • Light fabric repairs: carpet tile replacements, hanging of pictures and notice boards.
    • Completion of planned preventative maintenance tasks such as Water Flushing, Building Condition Reviews.
    • Respond to soft service calls logged with the facilities help desk. Investigate the nature of the problems and seek a speedy resolution.
    • Back of house operations are maintained in a presentable & organised manner at all times (i.e. storage spaces, goods lift spaces, pantry areas etc.).
    • Ensuring maintenance issues are logged on the CAFM / ticketing system and escalated as appropriate.
    • Carry out daily building audits and report or rectify any issues found.

    Person Specification

    • Previous experience in a similar role.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • FM systems knowledge desirable.
    • Right to work on a full-time basis in Ireland.
