Overall Purpose of the Job
Basic preparation of food and beverages, simple cooking, transporting and serving of meals, general Kitchen and Restaurant duties.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Deliver high quality FoodSpace services at all times.
- Assist in the supervision and control of all food and beverage items from the Kitchen.
- Ensure that the service of all meals is to the standard laid down by the Company and meets the Client’s specification and Head Chefs Standards.
- Obtain supplies and purchases from Company appointed suppliers or site specific.
- Control of raw materials and portions are to the Apleona standards.
- Prepare all food using fresh and local produce.
- Maintain health & safety standards at all times.
Qualifications and Experience
- Recognised Professional Culinary Qualification or 2+ Years in a comparative Kitchen environment.
- Previous recent experience within a working kitchen.
- Knowledge of Kitchen Health & Safety Proceduresand all Legislative Requirements.
- Stock Control.
- High Quality Food Production.
- Permission to work on a full time basis in Ireland.
Working Pattern
Monday - Sunday, 39 hour shift pattern.
