Overall, Purpose of the Job:
To ensure the efficient and effective provision of cleaning services at the client site in accordance with contractual obligations, company policy, and standards. This includes
managing the day-to-day operations of the cleaning team, coordinating with other soft services, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the cleaning team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Supervise and investigate the quality and standards of cleaning services, ensuring compliance with Site Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and company standards.
- Conduct regular site audits to ensure standards are maintained.
- Oversee the use of cleaning equipment and materials, managing repairs, renewals, and stock levels.
- Arrange and manage relief/holiday cover for cleaning staff.
- Review and prepare cleaning logs for site weekly.
- Recruit, train, and develop cleaning staff, ensuring all team members are fully trained in their roles.
- Monitor staff performance, manage workloads, and provide ongoing coaching and support.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, managing staff attendance, grievances, and records.
- Conduct induction and on-the-job training for new and existing staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience in a cleaning management or supervisory role.
Good computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel essential).
- Knowledge of safe working practices and health and safety legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and management skills.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
- Proactive and flexible work approach.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday from 8:00-16:00
