    We are looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team!

    Working pattern: Monday to Friday from 08:30-17:00

    Location can be Cork, Galway or Dublin

     

    Main duties and responsibilities

    • Be the first point of contact for all requests by telephone or email and direct these requests to the appropriate individual
    • Administer all user requests, seeking management approval where necessary and appropriate.
    • Produce and collate reports in an accurate and timely manner as required.
    • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with the relevant internal and external stakeholders.
    • Coordinate incident investigations and records as required.
    • Coordinate events, meetings and conference calls including arranging meeting rooms, refreshments and any handouts required.
    •  Provide project administration; update project plans
    • Raise purchase orders and process invoices using NAV.
    • Contact and liaise with suppliers or sub-contractors to ensure the smooth progression of works and payment on invoices.
    • Assist with the tracking of the audit programme and remedial actions as required.
    • Coordinate chemical risk assessments and records.
    • Support contractor/supplier assessments.
    • May be required to occasionally deputise for the HSEQ Advisor and therefore must be comfortable operating at a senior level.
    • Liaise with couriers and deliveries when necessary.
    • Assist senior management as requested.

     

    Qualifications and Experience

    Essential

    • Formal qualification or a willingness to pursue a qualification in HSEQ or similar
    • Experience of providing administrative support to a team
    • Experience of delivering customer service by telephone and email
    • Knowledge of operating standard office equipment

    Desirable

    • Manual Handling Instructor
    • DSE Assessor
    • Trained First Aid Responder
    • Experience of Risk Assessments and audits.
